This week on the JCast featuring the AudioVillains we reflected on the promo where Eddie showed us his Arnold impression. We also talked about how there are Mormons who are going to war with drug cartels in Mexico (click here for vid by Vice), some funny YouTube video’s and how Mike is a good liar when it comes to making others suffer with him. I’m also adding a video that shows you a little on what goes on behind the scenes of the JCast featuring the AudioVillains. Make sure to watch, listen, and share! Cheers!Post Views: 110

Hello everyone it’s pretty late but I wanted to make sure and post up a special JCast with none other than Nimrod of the Nimrod Diaries and our most excellent friend, Karl. It was a great first session and one that was entertaining and educational. Now, I know the word “educational” may sound like a bore but I had the chance to do things that I have never done before. For example, the day started out with shooting a couple handguns at the range and one of which was a Smith & Wesson 500. That gun was straight out of the book of Tackleberry from Police Academy. I also shot a crossbow and believe me when I tell you that it was superb! The discussion was excellent and I’m looking forward to digging deeper into the way of the Nimrod in reference to learning how to shoot, hunt, and even fish. Everything mentioned is something that I never learned growing up so why not start now, right? A big thanks goes out to Nimrod for the excellent venison steak, hospitality, and to Karl for the Urban Assault Growler’s from Paw Paw Brewing Company. The brew was excellent and I look forward to our next session. Without further ado I present you with a short clip of our shooting and of course, the JCast with special guests, Nimrod and Karl. Cheers!Post Views: 159

Imagine waking up on Saturday. The sky is blue and the sun is shining bright. You lean over to wake your husband. He doesn’t move. You turn him over and notice his lips are blue…you check him…no pulse. Your heart breaks…he’s gone. Now imagine you are 9-1-1, listening to the screams and wails of a wife who has lost her best friend and husband. She requests CPR instructions but you know it’s too late. This is what it’s like, Within the Trenches.
In this episode we will visit the #IAM911 movement, a movement I started to fight the reclassification of dispatchers from clerical to protective and bring awareness to the types of calls that 9-1-1 dispatchers answer on a daily basis.
Now…you heard the warning at the beginning but I must warn you again and add that if you suffer from PTSD or have suicidal tendencies you are listening at your own risk. The stories you are about to hear are all true and come from the dispatchers who lived them.
While some stories have a good outcome, the majority are horrifying. This is our reality. Your worst day is our every day.
So let’s start with a bang.
I want you to imagine each story. Become the dispatcher who has taken each call and imagine listening…Post Views: 177
